It's time! Here we are, the end of the month update! What glorious content awaits? ~ Darius Day 5 - By now, you should have noticed me stray from what I had been doing on the other routes. I wanted to split off a little sooner, since I was starting to feel like all the routes were way too similar to this point. I DID add an image to his Day 4 route as well, so you might want to go back through so you can find that. ~ Dozer Day 6 - Ahhh, Dozer... Nobody knows anything about you, but this day... You guys get more insight to his character and what kinds of things he likes. On top of that, it's opening up more of what's to come for him. His route needed a lot of BGs, but... you'll see that I failed on that front. More to come though, so sit tight! ~ Other things - You'll notice I changed up the GUI just a little. I'm not a graphic designer, by any means, so what you see if me just testing the waters to see how certain things work and check out the extent of what I can do. ~ Image Gallery - I've made it look a little nicer in regards to the black screen with that white text on top. It was time for that to go. ~ AS WELL, thanks a ton to Regonoreth for figuring out my image gallery problem. With the coding he gave me, I can start reworking all of my images. While I'm happy about this, I'm also crying on the inside, because that's a lot of stuff to do. For now, I've taken care of all of Dozer's and Azaghal's images. I had to go through each route and replace their original image code with the new one, so please, if you have an issues with character images (cast you know you've seen a sprite for) not showing up (or showing red text at the top of the screen), let me know! ~ Fixed Day 14 for Coach if you were seeing his clothes change after arriving at the buffet and for all the issues when I first launched that update. ~ Fixed an issue with Chester's Day 12 where you could loop into the anime sections multiple times. ~ Corrected a variety of inconsistencies and many, many, MAAAANY typos and such. ~ I've added an FAQ on my blog, so please check that out before sending me questions. I get a lot of the same questions over and over, so I've compiled a list of the most frequent ones I could think of. FAQ HERE This also details how you can report bugs to me! Thanks to everyone for the support, and thank you to all you new guys this month! You're really helping with this project, and I can't properly express my gratitude. Thank you all! It's a bit overwhelming at times. And I can never say enough that you need to make sure to show some love to my dear friend and artist, CursedMarked. Thanks, everyone! Public Demo Update too!
You can check out the home page of my Patreon account to see an update for the Public Demo. Some notes about the Public Demo... I'm using an older build of the game (still updated from last Demo). I'm using a fairly recent build, but with a reason. My goal was to start updating it once a month, but giving a pretty recent build, I most likely won't update it again until October. Just a little heads-up there!

Here's a list of questions that I tend to get asked fairly often. I'll add to it when I remember/come across more. Why is your visual novel not free? A lot of time and effort goes into making this, and for only a few dollars each month, people can pledge to help support its creation. CursedMarked also does some AMAZING work for me, so I like to pay him for what he does. I wouldn't be able to work on this like I do without the support from all of my amazing Patrons. How often do you update? I update 2 character routes ever 2 weeks. Normally, once in the start of the month and again in the middle. As for the public demo, I update it once a month, around the middle. It's 2 updates behind the Patron version. How many days do you plan to include in each route? I do not have a definite number of days yet. That really will be determined by... when I feel like I should wrap up the story of each character. I found a typo, how can I report it? You can use my Google Document typo page to report errors. Linked through my Patreon page. Any bugs found in the public builds do not have to be reported to me. How do I get my character in your game? At the moment, you cannot. That's a Patron perk that I have disabled until further notice. It will come back, but not until I get more of the game's assets taken care of. Who all works on this project? I do. CursedMarked is my artist, but that's the extent of what he does (that's not to say he does little work either). I do the scripting, story, coding, and dialogue on my own. I have a couple of people (huge thanks to Regonoreth here) that help me with errors in typing and such, but for the most part, I work alone on the project. As well, Mark Thorne has been handling a lot of my background sketches. Is -side character- going to be dateable? Currently, I have no plans to make any of the extra characters a dateable option. Several of them are Patron rewards for cameo appearances, but most of them won't go beyond that. So right now, the main cast are the only ones you can pursue. My game crashed, what do I do? First of all, if it is a new update, and you game crashes, start the game over from the beginning with a fresh start, since this is what I will tell you to try first. Unfortunately, the variables added to new updates can cause issues. In case this happens, and you'd rather skip all of the text, open the preferences menu and set the skip text feature to all. You can then hold down CTRL and power through to the choices. If for some reason the game crashes again at the same point, you can send me the error text. See the following image for what I need. You can send it via email, comment here, PM on Patreon or post it in the community section on my Patreon page. Check the community section or recent posts I've made just in case it's been brought up already. Can I donate without being a Patron?
Why yes, of course! I always appreciate any type of support, and I understand not everyone can be a Patron but would like to support somehow. Use the following link if you'd like to help support this project! Support with PayPal! Can I draw fanart of the guys? By all means, you can! Just be sure you share the image with me, and if I can, I'll share it on my blog too! Are the Dakimakuras still available? Yes! Check out the Merchandise page for direct links to them all! If they are out of stock at the moment, the order will be put on back order and shipped out as soon as more are printed. The quality is pretty fantastic on it, so grab one when you can! I do not operate the site, so please refer any other questions about ordering to their support team. Where is the download link for version ### (Patron only)? This question is asked way more often than it should be. In my posts, I tell where the download links and passwords are located. Please, please stop asking me this and read the posts I make during updates. I appreciate the eagerness for getting the new update, but I get email alerts about these things, and it just wastes time. When will I get my Dakimakura? Unfortunately, I do not know when the products are shipped. All of that is handled through the FurryDakimakura website, so any questions about that should be directed to them. Typically, you should give them 4-6 weeks, just in case they are out of stock and are waiting to have more printed. Will you be translating to another language? I do not mind fans translating my game to another language. I love seeing the support from all over the world for what I'm doing! The only drawback to it is that I won't be providing files to be translated myself at this time. There is still a lot of work to be done, and I do find myself going back to edit past days, so that would be a bit obnoxious to translation purposes. As things do get closer to completion though, it'll definitely be something I want done. Are the Bear Belly shirts still available? They are! They print every three days, and the campaign will not end unless I tell it to. Get one HERE! Hey guys! It's that time. I know a lot of you have really been looking forward to this update. I was up till like 6AM working on getting things ready, and I still feel like something is missing. I've tweaked a variety of things, tried some more new things, and just really jammed a lot of content into this update. So, here's a bit of what we've got going on in this update. ~ Title Screen!! Finally, you guys no longer have to look at that terrible thing I called a title screen! Thank you so much for all your support. Since you guys helped trash my goal, this was the first thing I wanted to have done. CursedMarked did an AMAZING job on it, and I love it. Thank you! ~Day 14 for Coach Grifter - OOOOOH, he asked you out on a date, and it's time (but is this Date 1 or 2?)! I really got carried away with his little date, so there's a bunch of different things you can do with it. This was a really tedious area to check due to the options, but I hope I got everything straightened out. Much love to my man for helping me out with that. In the first few minutes of testing it, I had a handful of minor typos that caused things to break. I really hope you guys enjoy this update for him. I can't wait to continue with it. ~Day 12 for Chester - Convention time! And with that, we have a Patron requested costume from Regonoreth, and then a Patron sprite for Aurynx, of his character, Carson. Both of these are from months ago, but I haven't had a place to put them till now. I added a variety of sounds to his route (and if they bother you, PLEASE tell me). Adjusting the volume is really difficult since... You have computer volume controls, in game volume controls, then I have scripting volume controls... So, getting the volume right is tough. Chester's route was fun to work with too, and his next update I can't wait for either! Again, extensive testing on his route (though I think there was something that didn't click right still but didn't cause a crash at least!). Again, CM did an awesome job with the Armor for Chester <3 NOW SOME BAD NEWS! I asked on the Ren'Py forums about the issue I was having with people encountering errors for new variables whenever they came across them. Despite the coding I'm using, I was told by a veteran member that people should be restarting, otherwise they will encounter errors. So, from this point on... a clean restart each update might be best. You can always try loading a file first, but if it crashes and says a variable isn't defines... You have to restart. I spent a lot of time trying to get around that, but whenever I loaded up old files, it normally crashed on me. To help make up for this, I'm going to create a little guide for each character and include it next time to get you guys the most preferred ending to the routes. It'll help skip through things faster! As well, no help on my issue with the image gallery issue! I have... another method to use now (thought of through my laziness!). But, I haven't implemented it yet. Still hoping to reduce my overall file size. And for my new supporters, some important information! Keep in mind, if you find in crashes or bugs, let me know! If it crashes, try starting your file over from the start before messaging me (It's what I'll tell you to do anyway! x3) and see if it crashes again at the same point. If so, snag a screenshot and send it my way! Or, copy the text and send me a message . Please see the following image to know what I need, that way you aren't sending a wall of text! That always helps me out, as I do miss things from time to time when checking for these errors. And so you don't have to read ALLLLL the text again, don't forget, you can go into Preference and set the Skip Text message to ALL. From there, just hold down CTRL to skip text faster. If you find a typo, all you have to do is let me know whose route, what day, and the sentence. I can find it easily from there! You don't have to go through the trouble of screenshotting that and sending it to me (unless you think it's easier!). Thank you to the guys that have already done this, as it helps me out tremendously! Please keep in mind though, character dialogue is not meant to be perfect (except Coach's). It's part of their character. So much thanks to Regonoreth too. He's been extraordinarily helpful over the months. I hope I didn't forget anything... If I did, you'll know!
